barlow: You've got to listen to me! We found it! We know all about the...
rebecca: I'm sorry, barlow. I can't listen to your story right now...
barlow: But this is important! This is big news! it was an evil plot by Alistair-
sheriff: Rebecca, didn't you say you had something you wanted Barlow to do?
rebecca: Yeah, now that you mention it. There's some stuff in the basement on a high shelf...
rebecca: Maybe you could go down and get them?
barlow: Arrgh! Why do you not listen to me?!
crystal: Barlow, just leave it for now. We can go back for the proof.
crystal: Barlow, shut up. Maybe you're mistaken.
rebecca: You should listen to Crystal.
barlow: You have to see the hidden chamber, and you'll understand. Turnip and Alex didn't believe either, until they saw...
rebecca: Barlow! Can you not take a hint?! We do not want to hear of this! And the Sheriff and I aren't leaving this diner.
barlow: Crystal, help me out, here.
crystal: Barlow is telling the truth! Believe him!
rebecca: That's it! I want both of you out of here right now!
crystal: But...
rebecca: OUT!
barlow: You know, that seemed rather confusing to me.
crystal: You and me both.
crystal: Look, we'll bring back proof!
crystal: You just stay right here and we'll bring back Alistair's journal.
crystal: I don't know what Barlow's talking about.
barlow: Huh?!
crystal: He's probably making something up as a joke... right?
barlow: THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
crystal: Oh, Barlow... you are such a funny guy...
barlow: What's got into you? Do I have to go get the proof by myself?! Fine! I'll go find a crowbar and pry that journal off its pedestal!
crystal: Honestly... I don't know where he gets that stuff.
rebecca: Hmmm...
crystal: Are you worried that Barlow might find out the truth?
rebecca: I'm not sure. We did a pretty good job of stopping ourselves from knowing what happened yesterday. I don't see that we left many clues behind.
crystal: But if he was to try really hard, even if he knew he shouldn't?...
rebecca: I hope he wouldn't do that. He should know that a lot of people died the last time this happened... including Alistair Bean and his brother.
crystal: Oh, yeah... right.
crystal: So why did you act that way towards Barlow?
rebecca: Act what way?
crystal: You know... you refused to even listen to what he had to say about the... uh, whatever.
rebecca: The whatever.
sheriff: Crystal, I think you know more about this that you let on. It would be best if you left us now.
crystal: Can we hold off on executing Annabelle?... You know... What is she really IS innocent?
sheriff: Why? Is there something you know, Crystal?
crystal: Well... uh, not really...
sheriff: Then there's no reason to put off the execution. In fact, I think we should move it up... get it done with immediately.
crystal: No!
rebecca: If you want to say goodbye to Annabelle, now is probably the best time.
crystal: I can't believe you two would be so... callous.
crystal: Hmm... Barlow's probably looking for something to pry the Alistair's journal loose.
crystal: Rats! I wish I knew why Rebecca and the Sheriff were acting like that!
crystal: What if we found out that one of the Bean guys was, well... evil.
rebecca: If there was an evil one, it would definitely be Harrington. By all accounts he was a very ineffective sheriff... corrupt, lazy...
sheriff: Not that there's anything wrong with a lazy sheriff.
crystal: But what if we found out that the wrong Bean was the evil one?...
rebecca: Stop right there! We don't want to hear it! Whatever you know, don't share it with us.
sheriff: Wait a minute, Rebecca. Maybe she should hear about Harrington.
crystal: What?
rebecca: This is why we don't want to know the secret. The town histories record that Harrington Bean died the day after his brother, presumably from injuries he sustained from the duel...
rebecca: But there's a legend that says he died because he tried to remember something that he forgot... and when he remembered it, it killed him.
sheriff: That's why we can't go looking for the secret. It's just too dangerous.
crystal: Okay, we need to find a way to bring that journal back to the diner.
barlow: Right! I've got a crowbar at home. I'll run back home and get it. I'll meet you in the hidden chamber.
crystal: Rats! I wish I knew why Rebecca and the Sheriff were acting like that!
crystal: Maybe I should find out what they're really thinking in there...
crystal: They must be talking about what Barlow said... I wonder why they don't want to listen.
crystal: I know, I'll sneak in the back door.
rebecca: Well, how should we proceed? It's obvious that Barlow's found the truth again. Do you think it's as we suspected?
sheriff: Some kind of brain disease... or parasite? It's quite possible.
rebecca: We should quarantine the four of them before it's too late.
sheriff: I'm afraid it might already be too late for that.
rebecca: Then we have to hurry. We have to stop it before it spreads out of control again, whatever it is.
sheriff: Oh, we'll stop it... but I'm afraid it'll take more drastic measures.
