crystal: Wow, I hardly got any sleep last night... but I feel great! I don't get it. I'm usually really tense after I stay up too late.
barlow: Well, I feel... horrible. Every muscle in my body aches, even muscles I don't think I've ever used.
barlow: Wait... what did you put in my coffee last night?!
crystal: Just a little something to make you sleep peacefully. I never expected it'd affect you like that. I... I just wanted to make sure you were well-rested.
barlow: Yeah, whatever. You wanted me out of the way... this is something to do with that zombie, isn't it?...
barlow: You wouldn't be withholding information, would you?
crystal: Would I do that?
barlow: Yes!
barlow: Tell me what you know! Now!
crystal: I don't know anything!
barlow: Then why did you spike my coffee last night?
crystal: I spiked it with kindness, Barlow.
barlow: I oh-so-greatly doubt that...
barlow: I don't care. I don't need any help from you. I'll find out on my own.
crystal: Now that I'd pay to see... Barlow actually figuring something out... heh.
barlow: I'm not so sore that I couldn't rid the town of any snide demons...
crystal: I could just stand here talking all day, but I have to get ready for work. I have an early shift on Wednesdays.
barlow: Well, I'm heading over there before you... to make sure my coffee isn't spiked with something.
rebecca: Barlow! I thought you were going to handle that zombie issue last night.
rebecca: You're the demon-hunter, you know. You are responsible for the safely of this town!
barlow: It's at the top of my list of priorities.
rebecca: I'm sure it is. And that's why you didn't do it last night.
barlow: I'm on it, I'm on it. Gimme a break, I get so busy.
rebecca: Barlow, you have a problem keeping track of time.
barlow: I meant to set traps last night, but I fell asleep early.
rebecca: You've really let us down, Barlow! What is one of us was attacked last night? You've got to be more responsible.
barlow: But it wasn't my fault! It was... oh, never mind. It doesn't matter if everyone is okay.
rebecca: We should check to make sure everyone IS okay. Has anyone heard from Eliza down in the marsh?
barlow: Any ideas about what it is I'm looking for?
rebecca: I'm not a demonology expert, Barlow.
barlow: I know, but you ARE a witch. Maybe there's something you can do to help us out here.
rebecca: I am a witch, but my powers don't have any effect where zombies and monsters are concerned. I was able to detect the presence of a powerful zombie, but I can't pinpoint its location.
barlow: Nothing happened last night, so why worry?
rebecca: Barlow, that's very disappointing. You always seem to lose interest in things and drop them.
barlow: That's not true! I'll get back to them eventually.
rebecca: Just name one thing that you've finished.
barlow: Well... finishing something isn't the point...
rebecca: Yes. Yes it is.
barlow: Well, our current situation is different. If there is something evil in Spider Cliff, I won't rest until I've caught it!
eliza: Rebecca, we have a problem.
rebecca: Where?
eliza: Everywhere! We've missed a day. Today is supposed to be Wednesday, but it's not. It's Thursday!
barlow: Oh?...
barlow: And how do we know this? One day's the same as another out here.
eliza: I know because the sun rose at precisely twenty-six minutes after six o'clock. If today was Wednesday, it would've been fifteen second earlier.
rebecca: Interesting...
barlow: Now wait a minute here...
barlow: Are you sure we didn't just lose track somewhere?
eliza: We didn't lose track, Barlow. I went to sleep on Tuesday night and woke up Thursday morning.
rebecca: Do you think it's possible that we all slept right through the day?
eliza: It's possible. Frankly, I don't know what happened.
rebecca: Hmmm...
barlow: What is it?
rebecca: I was just thinking... I noticed that one of my sharp cutting knives was missing this morning. I wonder if anything else is missing...
barlow: Maybe your measurements are wrong.
eliza: Not possible. I triple-checked it. I checked today's sunrise against my field almanac, and it's certain that a day was lost.
barlow: What does it matter? Seriously, half the time I don't know what day of the week it is, anyway!
eliza: Well, it makes a big difference to me! I'm doing important research!
rebecca: And my accounting will be off if I lost a day.
rebecca: Eliza, are you sure that the yesterday that we know of was Tuesday?
eliza: Absolutely.
rebecca: Then it appears that we have lost Wednesday. This is not a good sign.
rebecca: Barlow, we need to look into this. It seems very suspicious that this happened so soon after that evil creature came from the marsh.
