crystal: Well, now's my chance.
crystal: It's locked. I'll need to use a little demon magic to pop that lock.
crystal: The power of darkness compels you!
crystal: There. Now to claim the prize.
crystal: I can't wait to see everyone's faces when they found out I've got...
crystal: ....a skull.
eliza: Grave robber!
crystal: I'm so sorry... this has all been a misunderstanding.
eliza: Oh, really? So you thought that box was yours?
crystal: No... uh, I though it held something... else...
eliza: As you can see, it's none of your business.
crystal: Who did you kill?!
eliza: What?! I didn't kill anyone!
crystal: Then why are you hiding body parts? Is it stolen?
eliza: I'm not the one who stole it. I'm taking it back.
crystal: What are you doing with a skull?
eliza: That is none of your business!
crystal: But you're supposed to have the mayor's remains in there. I was expecting an urn.
eliza: Not all of him was cremated. That is his skull.
crystal: What would you be doing with the mayor's skull?
eliza: Why wouldn't I reclaim it? It belonged to my grandpa Tebbs.
crystal: Your grandfather owned the mayor's skull?
crystal: Oh... your grandfather WAS the mayor.
eliza: Precisely. Mayor Blake, but in his day we all called him Tebbs. Theodore Elias Bartholomew Blake.
crystal: Oh.
eliza: But none of this explains why you were trying to steal his skull.
crystal: I thought you were hiding his urn.
eliza: His urn? His urn is in the cemetery... isn't it?
eliza: Someone desecrated his tomb again?!
crystal: Sometime last night. We're all looking for it.
eliza: Someone should've told me... he's MY ancestor!
crystal: I'm really sorry about that.
crystal: I thought maybe you were keeping candy in there.
eliza: No. It's just a skull.
crystal: Uh... it's not a chocolate skull, is it?
eliza: It's just a skull.
eliza: Now why did you REALLY want to open that box?
crystal: Do you know anyone who would want to steal the urn?
eliza: No, I can't think of... unless it was...
crystal: Who?!
eliza: Never mind. No one would stoop that low.
crystal: Did your grandpa have any enemies?
eliza: No, everyone loved Tebbs. He was the mayor for over half a century.
crystal: Wow. So your family goes back a ways here, doesn't it?
eliza: The Blake family is the second oldest family in Spider Cliff, just after the Beans.
crystal: Do you think there might be a supernatural motive?
eliza: Oh, here we go again...
crystal: No, wait. There's a superstition in town that his urn protects the town from evil.
eliza: Why can't they just leave my family in peace?! We don't want to be part of all that magical tripe!
crystal: It's getting late. I have to continue the search.
eliza: I appreciate you all looking for his urn.
eliza: I should go find the Sheriff and find out what he knows about it. This field research will have to wait.
crystal: Was it the person who originally stole the skull?
eliza: I don't want to consider it.
crystal: Who?
eliza: Rebecca. I don't know how, but somehow she got hold of Tebbs' skull. She had it on display in the back room at the diner.
eliza: I found out about it soon after I returned here for my field research. I guess the thought of having my grandpa on display in someone's store was the thing that really soured my attitude towards the town. Before that, I thought their little superstitions and folklore were quaint and harmless.
