crystal: Well, there goes a whole day...
barlow: I can't believe I won a sunset! I feel so cheated!
crystal: Ha! I say you got what you deserve. You all got what you deserve.
crystal: I think there's a lesson in all of this...
barlow: What?!
crystal: Yeah. I think this is what happens when you lie to your friends and steal things for your own personal gain. Personally, I'm quite amused that you spent all that time and effort trying to cheat us, only to be rewarded with something you can see every evening.
barlow: That's not the point!
crystal: Oh yeah? Then what IS the point?
barlow: Dr. Bean was crazy! To spend all this effort to hide... What?! A sunset?
crystal: This is just a prank. You're only upset because you fell for it.
barlow: We lost. The treasure must already be gone.
crystal: Yep. All that work for nothing...
barlow: There IS NO point! We were all cheated!
crystal: Well, I wasn't, because I wasn't lying and stealing and backstabbing. You're just getting what you deserve.
crystal: Well, at least it's a nice sunset.
barlow: You think so?
crystal: Oh, I've seen better.
barlow: Oh yeah, me too.
crystal: But still, it's pretty cool how the light reflects off the rooftops, and how the sun sets directly between those two ridges over there.
barlow: Yeah, and the light reflecting through the mist makes all those different colors. It's nice, but it's not quite what I was expecting in a treasure.
crystal: You know, I don't think the floor is all that stable. I'm starting to think this building is planning to collapse... and soon.
barlow: Yeah, we should get going soon.
crystal: Okay, let me know when you're ready.
barlow: No, we'll go when you're ready.
crystal: Don't let me keep you.
barlow: Why do you think this place was kept secret?
crystal: I've been wondering that, myself. Someone wouldn't do all this planning to make the perfect view of town, and then keep it so secret... unless there's a good reason.
barlow: How did my chair end up in here?
crystal: I'm thinking that maybe Alex or Annabelle could shed some light on that little mystery. I think it's time we got the whole truth out of them.
barlow: So you think it's safe to assume that they've been watching this sunset?
crystal: I hope that's all they've been doing.
crystal: Well, this sunset isn't just their secret anymore... and by the looks of things we might be the last two to see it from this window.
barlow: This is not the real treasure. This is just a dead end, intended to throw us off the trail of the real treasure.
crystal: So you plan to continue looking for it?
barlow: I... don't know. I guess so.
crystal: Barlow, I think you're a fool to think there was any treasure in the first place. I'm rather inclined to believe that this sunset IS your treasure. The irony of it all is so fitting.
barlow: Maybe it's the discovery that's the important part. Maybe this spot has been rediscovered by everyone who searches for it.
crystal: If that was true, those object you collected might've been stolen several times before...
barlow: It's a theory.
barlow: Maybe there's something magical about this spot.
crystal: I wondered about that, too... but my demon senses don't pick up anything here. It's just a normal room and a rather pleasant sunset.
barlow: You might be right about that, but Dr. Bean hid this place for a reason.
barlow: Okay, let's get going.
crystal: Right. You go first.
barlow: No, after you.
crystal: Oh? I see... Is someone afraid of the floor falling out under him?
barlow: Uh... something like that.
crystal: Well, we can't stay here. This place is ready to fall...
crystal: ....And that's when the whole building came down. It's actually quite amazing that we survived at all, much less that we weren't injured.
barlow: Speak for yourself! I think I bruised an ankle.
crystal: Oh, boo-hoo.
annabelle: So what did you two see from that window?
barlow: Oh, you know. It was a nice view and all, as secret rooms go.
barlow: It wasn't really all that much of a secret, was it?
annabelle: Why do you ask me?
barlow: I'm just wondering how many people have used those Bean family heirlooms to find it.
annabelle: Well... I have to admit that there was a lot of talk about Dr. Bean's treasure even while I was alive. It was something of a cottage industry to bring in the tourists...
annabelle: But back in those days, I seem to remember that there were scores of items that gave hints to the location. I think part of the fun was finding it... and it's not like you can just tell someone where it is...
crystal: What do you mean?
annabelle: Watch and learn. Barlow, please tell me the way to get into that room you both visited.
barlow: It's gone. The whole building collapsed!
annabelle: Regardless of that, tell me how you got there before the building collapsed.
barlow: Okay, it's... it's... You have to... uh...
annabelle: You see that? There's a spell preventing Barlow from telling.
barlow: With the building gone, I guess the treasure is gone forever.
annabelle: It's a pity, really. It was such a magical place. It even warmed my cold, dead heart.
crystal: It's also a pity that Rebecca and the sheriff never got a chance to see it.
annabelle: Oh, you never can tell if they knew about it or not. I would guess that nobody can stay in Spider Cliff for long without seeing that particular sunset at least once.
annabelle: And when it comes down to it, is it really anyone else's business?
barlow: Of course you knew all about that secret room.
annabelle: What are you implying?
barlow: Don't be so coy. How would MY furniture end up in that room?
annabelle: Okay, okay... I admit it. I've been in that room before.
crystal: With Alex?
annabelle: Of course with Alex. How do you think this whole mess started?..
annabelle: Alex was interviewing me for that book he was writing, and we pieced together enough clues to figure out where the secret room is... was. We didn't believe that the treasure was a sunset at first, but we eventually watched it quite a number of times.
barlow: And yet, Alex assured everyone that there was no treasure.
annabelle: He lied.
barlow: It must've been strong magic if Alex refused to tell us about it.
annabelle: Very strong, yes. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but creating the world's most romantic location was quite a feat. Dr. Bean was a genius!
annabelle: It's so sad that the treasure was so completely forgotten about. In the old days, people were always dropping hints about it, trying to get young lovers up there for an evening. We wanted to keep that going, so that's why we slipped several clues into that magic lantern show last night.
annabelle: It's a real pity that the building collapses before you saw that sunset.
crystal: Oh, we saw that sunset.
barlow: Yeah. It was okay.
annabelle: You both saw the sunset? Together?
crystal: As Barlow said, it was okay.
annabelle: That's funny. Any couple that views it through that window is supposed to immediately fall in love! But you two don't look any different.
barlow: Well, I guess it doesn't work on everyone. I don't notice anything different.
crystal: Me neither.
